It was another great weather weekend with only .38 inchesof rain early Sunday morning and late in the afternoon in the village. Onceagain, the rain clouds split with heavy rain above and below Boonvilleduring the day.Boonville Elks Lodge #2158 hosted their annual summer clambake with 220attendees. The Elks prepared for the crowd by offering 880 dozen clams bothsteamed and raw, 58 pounds of their sliced prime rib for sandwiches, countlessburgers, hotdogs and sausage sandwiches, salads, sweet corn, and emptiedeight barrels of beer. You can be sure no one went home hungry. Congratulations to Dean and Christina Delles of Lowville on the birthSunday of twin daughters. Both JaeLynn and Jillian were identical, weighing 3pounds, 14 ounces, and were 16 inches long.
