Barneveld man arrested on warrant

A 43 year old Barneveld man was arrested on a warrant for Grand Larceny 3rd Degree. Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol reports that Dale Sexton was taken into custody without incident by investigators from the Sheriff's Office Warrants Unit and the Oneida County District Attorney's Office as the result of an investigation by the District Attorney's Office into the alleged theft of money from an individual who had entrusted Sexton to pay outstanding medical bills on his behalf and then did not do so. Sexton was arraigned in Town of Trenton Court & was remanded to the Oneida County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash or bond.
