Drunk Driving Laws may leave some with no license

Drunk Driving law are about to get tougher in the state of
New York after new regulations allowing the DMV to review records of all
drivers who apply to get their licenses back after they've been revoked.  Any applicant who has five or more alcohol or
drug related driving convictions will be denied.  Also being denied are those who have three or
more convictions, plus another serious driving offense, such as a fatal car
crash.  The new regulations also delay
relicensing for those who have three or four convictions, but no serious
driving offenses.  It's estimated that 20,00
drivers will have their licenses permanently revoked or delayed this year due
to these new regulations.
