Lewis County Public Health will be partnering with NY Connects: Choices for Long Term Care to host a community event which is open to the public. “Meet The Services That Make Your Community” will be held TOMORROW at the Lowville Elks Lodge on Shady Avenue, Lowville from 9-1. This event will be extremely educational for professionals, consumers and students as well as the general public. Lewis County has local resources and services that many are not aware of. This is the time to come out and see what is available in our community. Brenda Campany and Karen Boliver with the Northern Regional Center for Independent Living will speak about the past, present and future mission including discussion about Family Support Services, Community Connections/Recovery Center and Mental Health Advocacy.
