Three Lowville Teens were charged yesterday in the damage of two picnic tables located on the bandstand at Veteran’s Memorial Park in the Village of Lowville during the evening hours of June 18th. Lowville Village Police arrested 18 year old Kyle W. Smith and charged him with two counts of criminal mischief in the fourth degree. They also charged a 15 year old juvenile with criminal mischief in the fourth degree. It is alleged that the 15 year old contributed to the damage of one of the picnic tables.
17 year old Ricky A. Smith was also charged with making a false written statement. It is alleged that Ricky Smith signed a deposition in regards to the damaged picnic tables which was not true. Both Smiths were issued appearance tickets returnable to Lowville Village Court at a later date. The juvenile was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Lewis County Probation Department.
