Community Events for 9/9/10: JOIN US FOR OUR LIVE BROADCASTS ON SATURDAY. FRED & DANA WILL BE AT THE LOWVILLE NICE N EASY FROM 11-1 WHILE GEORGE & BILL WILL BE AT THE FLYWHEELS & PULLEYS OLD TIME GAS & STEAM ENGINE SHOW FROM 9-NOON. There will be a benefit for Nancy Kelsey Friday starting at 4 p.m. at the Boonville Elks Lodge. $15 for individuals & $25 for couples. Food, door prizes & drawings will be featured. Proceeds will help pay Nancy‘s medical bills, gas, & prescriptions. The Adirondack Group of Alcoholics Anonymous meets every Friday at 9 a.m. at Nichols Memorial Presbyterian Church in Old Forge. A community thank you meal will be held today at the Croghan Mennonite Church from 5-8 p.m. The meal is free & will be served family style. Everyone is welcome. The Flywheels & Pulleys Club is seeking volunteers to work at the food stand on the grounds on Saturday & Sunday. Call 465-4206 or 337-2079 anytime. |
