Birth congratulations go out to Tim and Katrina Fox of Knightdale, North Carolina, formerly of Boonville, on the birth Friday of a daughter, Annabelle Marie, who entered the world weighing 8 pounds, and was 21-1/2 inches long. She will join a big sister Liza at home. The new grandparents are Hal and Linda Fox of Boonville.
After last week's record-breaking high temperatures, this coming week may bring close to record low readings. Tonight's low is projected to be between 10 and 15 degrees, and could severely damage the tree buds and early flowers that are emerging from their winter rest.
