On Saturday's program I recieved a call to congratulate
Joe Wilcox and Tabatha Persons of Boonville on their 1:30 p.m. wedding at the
White-Otter Fish and Game Club in Woodgate. Happy wishes from their
families and friends.
This morning Ron and Marg Dolan of Copenhagen both called to wish each
other a happy 46th anniversary. Ron said it was hot that day during their
Constableville wedding.
It was 12 years ago last evening when a vicious storm arrived in Boonville
forcing the cancellation of the Lorrie Morgan concert at the
Boonville-Oneida County Fair. My rain guage, two blocks away, measured 1.60" accumulation
along with severe thunder and lightning. The next morning a call from West
Leyden indicated they only had a few sprinkles the evening before.
In 1965, President Lyndon B. Johnson signed Medicare into law.
