Brownville man killed in Montague accident

A 47 year old Brownville,  man was killed in a one car accident that occurred yesterday in the Town of Montague. Lewis County Sheriff's deputies report that a 2012 Dodge Van operated by Matthew J Brenon
became airborne after it went off the Gardner Road at the intersection of the Sears Pond Road. The van then struck a telephone junction box and then a tree.  The cause of the accident is still under investigation. Deputies were assisted at the scene by EMS 1, the New York State Police, Lewis County Search and Rescue and the Lowville Fire Department.
