The Lewis County Youth Bureau Advisory Board is asking organizations to apply for a portion of more than $3,000 available to help prevent juvenile delinquency through positive youth development.
Up to $2,291 is available in initiative funding, targeted at early intervention and prevention services. It requires a dollar-to-dollar match from non-state or federal money.
An additional $1,196 in Special Delinquency Prevention Program, intended to be used for youths most likely to become involved in the criminal justice system, also is available.
