One Man Seriously Injured in Motor Vehicle Accident
Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol reports that a Steuben man has been arrested after an incident on Soule Road in the Town of Floyd. On Sunday morning, around 1:45 AM, Oneida County Sheriff’s Office responded to a one car personal injury motor vehicle accident on Soule Road. 25 year old Dale J. Annis of Steuben was operating a 2006 Hyundai in a northerly direction on Soule Road when he lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle struck a utility pole on the East shoulder of the roadway, then overturned coming to a rest at the intersection of Boak Road on its roof. Annis was not injured in the accident, but his passenger, 30 year old Corey Graveline was riding in the front seat and was seriously injured. Graveline was extricated from the vehicle by Floyd Fire Department and transported to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital by Amcare Ambulance where he is listed in critical condition with internal injuries. 26 year old Michael Colangelo Jr. was a rear seat passenger in the vehicle and was not injured. After investigation, Annis was arrested for Driving while intoxicated, assault, speed not reasonable and Failure to keep right. Annis was arraigned in the Town of Trenton Court and sent to Oneida County Jail in lieu of $7500 bail. The investigation continues in this Motor Vehicle accident.
