August 4, 1956 to May 31, 2013
LOWVILLE-Ronald Duane Lyndaker passed unexpectedly on Friday, May 31st 2013 while working in Reinholds, Pennsylvania. He was the Operations Manager for Skyhook Inc. It is with a heavy heart and so much love that we say goodbye to our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother. He will be greatly missed.
Ron was born to Helen Widrick Lyndaker and Earl Alvin Lyndaker on August 4th 1956 in Lowville, NY. He lived on Ridge Road in Dadville and attended school in Lowville, graduating from Lowville Academy and Central School in 1974. Ron was always known as a hard worker, running a bulldozer during his high school years while working with his father. Following graduation, he moved to Hazleton, PA where he built towers with Dell’s Tower Service. He married Francine Maher on August 28th, 1976. In 1977, Ron was employed by Skyhook Inc. as an Iron Worker. He and Francine lived in Sheppton, PA until they moved to Weatherly, PA in 1979. Ron joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on April 19th, 1994, serving the Church in many capacities including Branch Presidencies and Bishoprics. His favorite callings were in Young Men’s and Primary. Ron and Francine raised their four children in their Weatherly home until 2002. After losing their home to a house fire, the Lyndaker family moved to Cedar City, UT to be closer to their grandchildren. After moving to Utah, Ron continued to work in the construction field for Brianhead Township, Orton Erections, Bullock Construction and most recently for Schultz Construction. He had recently returned to work at Skyhook Inc. Ron was able to experience the blessings and joy of 10 grandchildren, whom he loved dearly, Victoria, Christiana and Grant Roscoe Fairall, Ethan, Aurora, Emmalene, Olivia and Ellianna Hall and Alexandra and Jack Tierney.
We take comfort in knowing that Ron is with his grandson, Aiden Robert Tierney, his sister, Judy Leddy and his parents Earl and Helen Lyndaker. Ron is survived by his wife of 36 years, Francine Maher Lyndaker. Together, they had four children, three daughters and a son and were blessed to have three more sons join their family. Nicole Lynn and Christopher Fairall of Salt Lake City, Utah; Jennifer Lene and Dallas Hall of Reno, Nevada; Crystal Ron’ee and Tom Tierney of Trenton, New Jersey and Patrick Lyndaker of San Angelo, TX. Ron is also survived by four siblings; brothers Earl Lyndaker of Glenfield, NY and John Lyndaker of Lowville, NY and sisters Carreen Turck of Brownsville, NY and Kay and Alex Bishop of Clayton, NY as well as many nieces and nephews.
In order to bring Ron’s loved ones together to celebrate his life, we ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to Francine Lyndaker at 1404 S 4450W, Cedar City, UT 84720.
