Boonville - Wallace S. Flint, 84, of Schuyler Street, affectionately known to many as "Wally", passed away on Friday, January 11, while under the care of his loving family and hospice.
A native of Englewood, New Jersey, Wally honorably served his country during the Korean Conflict, serving with the U.S. Army in Korea. After his honorable discharge he returned to New Jersey and on July 20, 1963, he was united in marriage with Ruth M. Hoffman in Harrington Park, New Jersey. The couple moved to Hillsdale, NJ shortly thereafter, where they rasied their family. Mrs. Flint passed away on October 22, 2007. For many years Mr. Flint was employed by the St. Regis Paper Co. of Manhattan.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Friday, May 31, at 1 PM at Boonville Cemetery, where Pastor Joe Fellar, of the Boonville Baptist Church will officiate, and members of Charles J. Love Post American Legion, Harland J. Hennessey Post VFW and the Tun Tavern Marine Corps League will confer Military Rites.
